Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

Youclaw ("we", "us") is a company knowledge workspace where AI agents write and maintain documentation from the sources you connect. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and what happens to it. If anything here is unclear, write to us at founders@youclaw.app — a founder answers.

What we collect

How we use it

Who processes your data (subprocessors)

ServicePurpose
Anthropic (Claude)Writing pages and answering questions from your sources
ConvexDatabase and backend hosting
ClerkAuthentication and account management
CloudflareWeb hosting, networking, and DNS
GitHub / SlackOnly if you connect them, to read the data you scope

Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us, under their own security and privacy commitments.

Your data stays yours

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure providers. Access to workspace content is enforced per-membership on every backend function. API keys are stored as hashes; the plaintext is shown to you exactly once.

Retention

We keep your workspace data for as long as your account is active. Operational logs are kept only as long as needed for debugging and are then discarded.

Children

Youclaw is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 16.

Changes

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you directly.
