Terms of Service
Last updated: July 8, 2026
These terms govern your use of Youclaw (youclaw.app and app.youclaw.app). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Written in plain language on purpose — questions to founders@youclaw.app.
1. The service
Youclaw is a company knowledge workspace in which AI agents compile the sources you provide into documentation pages, answer questions about them, and serve them to AI agents you authorize. Youclaw is currently in an early-access phase: features change quickly and occasionally break. We work hard to keep your data safe throughout.
2. Your account
You need an account to use Youclaw. Keep your credentials and workspace API keys secure — you're responsible for activity under them. Revoke any API key you believe is compromised (this takes effect immediately).
3. Your content
- You own the content you bring — pasted sources, connected-tool data, and the pages generated from them.
- You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service on that content: store it, process it with AI models to write pages and answer questions, and serve it back to you and the agents you authorize. Nothing else.
- Only connect sources you have the right to use. If you sync a team channel or repository, that's your call and your responsibility.
- You can export everything as plain markdown at any time, and ask us to delete your workspace.
4. AI-generated content
Pages and answers are written by AI. We engineer heavily for accuracy — every important claim carries a citation to its source, pages carry freshness states, and edits pass through an approval queue — but AI can still be wrong. Verify important claims against their cited sources before acting on them. Youclaw is not professional advice of any kind.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use Youclaw to break the law, to violate others' rights or privacy, to attempt to access other customers' workspaces, or to probe or disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Fees
Youclaw is currently free while in early access. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you clearly and in advance — you'll never be charged silently.
7. Availability
We aim for the service to be reliable but provide it "as is" during early access, without uptime guarantees. We may change or discontinue features; if we ever discontinue the service itself, we'll give you time and tools to export your data.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Youclaw and its founders are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, during free early access, is zero).
9. Termination
You can stop using Youclaw and request deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the date above and flag significant changes directly. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept them.
